Angelbird CFast Single Card Reader (USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C)

Designed for transferring files at unrestricted speeds, the Angelbird CFast 2.0 Memory Card Reader from ARRI quickly ingests your footage from a single CFast 2.0 card. Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems using a USB Type-C port, this reader uses the 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 standard. Its Solid Connect II recessed interface both protects against accidental unplugging and limits wear and tear. Additional features include a physical write protect switch and a modular design that stacks seamlessly with other Angelbird card reader models.

For systems that don’t support USB 3.1 Gen 2, this reader is backward compatible with other USB standards and since the USB Type-C port shares the same interface as Thunderbolt 3, it can be directly connected to a Thunderbolt 3 port. Bus power enables the Angelbird CFast 2.0 card reader to receive power directly from your system’s host USB or Thunderbolt port, with no additional cables or power supplies required. Both a 19.7″ USB Type-C to Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A adapter are included with the reader.
